LHC down for 2 months.

Sigh. By now you've heard that the Large Hadron Collider suffered a fairly major electrical problem and will be shut down for 2 months while they make repairs. There was a faulty electrical connection between two of the magnets and they stopped superconducting. I guess they were regularconducting instead. Anyway, they melted and that lead to mechanical failure. Helium everywhere. Bad things my friends.

Or maybe that's what they want you to think....... maybe this story is a cover-up, and that the LHC was shut off because it created a black hole that ate part of the electronics; or their maintenance guy; or something. Anyone know where the G Man is these days?
